Life Extraordinaire (Pty) Ltd , trading as Life-X Coaching respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), and the EU General Data Protection Regulation where that applies to you.

What we collect
Only what you give us. Typically your name, email address, telephone number, organisation and role where relevant, and whatever you choose to write in a form or questionnaire.
We do not ask for special personal information as defined in section 26 of POPIA. If something sensitive comes up in a coaching conversation, it stays in that conversation under professional confidentiality and is not added to any marketing record.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a conversation.
- To deliver a coaching engagement you have asked for.
- To send you content, but only where you have ticked the box asking for it.
Our lawful basis is your consent, and where an engagement is under way, performance of our agreement with you.
Who else touches your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do use third parties to run the business, and you should know who they are:

We also use a website hosting provider and an email provider. We will name them on request.
Each of these is an operator under POPIA and is required to process your information only on our instruction and to keep it secure.
Information leaving South Africa
Because our forms are processed by GoHighLevel in the United States, your information is transferred outside South Africa. Section 72 of POPIA permits this where the recipient is bound by rules offering adequate protection, or where you consent. By submitting a form on this site you consent to that transfer.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become engagements: 24 months, then deleted.
- Client records: for the duration of the engagement and 5 years afterwards.
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
Security
We use reputable providers, restrict who can see client records, and require confidentiality from anyone working with us. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your information we will notify you and the Information Regulator as section 22 of POPIA requires.
Your rights
You may ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You may withdraw consent at any time. You may object to processing. You may complain to us first, or go straight to the Regulator.
Write to coach@life-x.co.za. We will respond within a reasonable time and will not charge you for a straightforward request.
