POPIA Compliance

Last updated 17 August 2026

This statement sets out the practical commitments behind our Privacy Notice. It exists because a link labelled "POPIA Compliance" should lead to something, not to a copy of a different document.

The eight conditions

POPIA sets eight conditions for lawful processing. Here is how we meet each.

Operators

Where a third party processes personal information for us, POPIA section 21 requires a written agreement obliging them to maintain security and to process only on our instruction. Our principal operator is HighLevel Inc. (GoHighLevel), which hosts the forms on this website.

Direct marketing

Section 69 of POPIA permits unsolicited electronic marketing only with consent, or to existing customers about similar goods and services. We send marketing only where you have opted in, and every message carries an unsubscribe link that works.

Breach notification

If personal information is accessed or acquired by an unauthorised person, section 22 obliges us to notify the Information Regulator and the affected people as soon as reasonably possible. We will tell you what happened, what it means for you, and what we are doing about it.

Access requests

Requests for access to records are handled under the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000. Send any such request to coach@life-x.co.za and we will respond within the periods that Act allows.
